10 Tips to Get Your Business Website Seen Online
September 29th, 2009- Google Maps
Make sure your business has been added and is correct on Google maps. Most of the time when you search for a local business, you will notice that a map will be displayed within the search results. This goes hand in hand with Google Maps. Make sure the title tags in your website describe your business keywords. This is very important so Google Maps picks up the correct information and display your business correctly. Open your website in Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. At the top left it will display the title tag. A good example of this would be Joe’s Plumbing Service. If the title tag just says Joe’s Plumbing Service, you would need to change it to something like Joe’s Plumbing Service, Pipe Repair, Toilet Clogs, Clogged Pipes. Use descriptive words that the average person will search for.
